Camp Assistant

Our Camp Assistants are hands-on heroes for children ages 4 to 7, always in the mix, leading fun activities, and making sure everyone’s having a blast!

They co-supervise playtime, snacks, and meals, help keep camp spaces clean and organized, and step in as Camp Leaders when needed.

Whether it's joining in on games or supporting creative activities, they’re always there to keep the camp energy high and the kids smiling!

You’ll be responsible for:

• Co-supervising children while playing at their centres and while eating their snacks and lunches

• Maintaining the camp areas clean and tidy (this includes light housekeeping such as sweeping, wiping tables, and wiping counters)

• Support in keeping camp games, crafts and centres activities tidy and organized

• Stepping in to act as Camp Leader if the camp leader is away

Hours

Full time summer seasonal position (35 hours per week)
Week days only (8:30am to 4:00pm)

Position Location

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old

• Some sport participation or coaching experience

• A successful Criminal Record check, upon hiring if 18 years old +

• First aid certification upon hiring

Compensation

Starting wage is $19.50/hour
