How to Support Your Kiddo in the Gym

Our classes are designed to be fun for both grown ups and kids! They are a great place to connect with your kiddo in the middle of what we know is probably a very busy week.

When supporting your child in the gym, make sure to:

  1. Stay with your child at all time.

  2. Leave distractions (like phones) outside the gym.

  3. Help your child follow the class routines, such as circle time, skills work, and goodbye time.

  4. Help your child if they need to be spotted or supported with more challenging skills

  5. If you are bringing a baby with you to a sibling’s class, you’ll need your hands free. Use a baby carrier or wrap for hands free snuggles.

When Does My Child Participate in Class Independently?

Parent participation is required for all students until your coach deems your child ready to participate safely and follow the class routine.

Kids in Baby Jump, Jump 1, and Jump 2 will need parent participation at every class. Once your kiddo is in Jump 3, they will start developing the skills to participate independently. Not all kids are ready to be in class without a grown up when they are three years old so don’t worry if your kiddo needs you in the gym for longer.
